MAHAAN Well here's what I like in the movie you get to see chiyaan back to his glories form completely loosened up the man made his mark that he still can knock out comercial roles, dhruv Vikram shows that he is his prodigy , simha at his usual best , amazing visuals and great costumes, few of the musics remind u of a good bond styled themes What I didn't love about the movie: Why was simran cast here , there ain't any predominance to her presence, the story was predictable in the second half, wish simha had more screentime.. Overall a must watch .. please ignore the dumb reviews and watch the movie after, movies ain't about logic but about u feeling beyond reality .. watch this popcorn movie with Karthik subbarajs magic ✨

Here is my review on the Lion king The pros What we get here is pure technical brilliance and amazing motion capture.. the songs though short were pretty well done.. As usual Hakuna matata keeps you humming with its catchy tune. Younger Simba and Nala where at it's best. James earl Jones is always the Mufasa we never wanna see replaced and Donald Glover does an apt older simba. As usual Beyonce lends her voice to make the songs colourful. Seth Rogen and Billy Eichner get the Timon and Pumbaa we always remember. The cons We don't get to see the Scar we want to The Scar we know is witty, manipulative and a voice thats scheming. The new Scar played by chiwetel eijofor lacks depth and the scare that was seen in the animated one. We also miss to see the comical yet nerve racking hyenas ( Shenzi,Banzai and Ed) now that Ed and Banzai are replaced to get a realistic feel to the movie yet they could have given them a comical shade Few plot changes cut out some memorable moments. We also miss out on zazu who was a key comical element in the animated. The new zazu was just to blunt and lack any emotion in the voice Overall go watch this movie to walk down your 90s memory lane and technical brilliancy. This is one live action to catch up for post Aladdin..

If Arjun reddy makes you feel you got to live like the protagonist and in so make you be the protagonist.. kabir Singh makes you relate so much with the character that you wanna madly fall in love like him excluding his pain. Though I was doubtfull over him on how shahid would carry out this cult classic. When you step out of the theatre you realise that he's bought you with his rustic emotions and raw character... A must watch remake..
