Is "Fistful of Vengeance" winning any awards soon? Probably not. I was raised during the mom and pop video stores era when my dad would stop by on a Friday night after a long, hard week of work and take his chances on a VHS tape to entertain me and my little brother. Was there anything good in 1983? Sure. War Games was pretty good, as was National Lampoon's Vacation, but my dad would pass all those crowd-pleasing, popular movies for something like Deathstalker, a low-budget sci-fi thriller with medieval warriors and ogres complete with a TV dinner that came with scolding hot chocolate pudding. This movie is kinda like that.

When this movie began, I immediately saw low budget red flags everywhere. They tried to hide it with camera flares and low angles, but they couldn't hide actor inexperience. (One guy looked at the camera, and then quickly away like he made a mistake.) Halfway through, I thought I'd jump on here for reviews. Everyone noticed the same things and didn't disappoint! I love Bruce Willis, but this was horrible. I can't finish it. At this point, I'm rooting for the alien slug to kill us all.
