Great movie from the 80’s, somewhat predictable but engaging nonetheless. Gossett, Gere, and Winger played their roles believably. Great popcorn movie.

Love it in spite of its premise. Still find Matt LeBlanc very funny as himself. The shallow self absorbed characters ring true in a sendup of the Hollywood TV racket.

This was gut wrenching from start to finish. Basically covered all the bases in the current debate on race relations in America. Kerry’s performance was way over the top, emotionally, and the script over played the waiting period for the inevitable bad news to come. Definitely worth watching, but a real downer of a movie.
