Unexpectedly one of the best comic book to TV adaptations I've seen, even though it borrows loosely from the source material at times the writing is brilliant, irreverent and captivating. No more goody two shoes hero types or predictable good versus evil tropes, just a frenetic romp through damaged psychies and attempts at redemption that hopefully make a difference. In a chaotic world the Doom Patrol fights weirdness with weirdierness. I really hope this show gets the budget it deserves.
