This anime is a total rollercoaster of emotions and even if you try to get ready for such fluctuations of your emotions you're never really ready, that's what I learned. It's such an emotional story that leaves you hungry for more, I would dare to say that it was torture stopping myself from watching it all at once. The story is so well done that you even want to get involved with the characters, live their story along with them and even when your not watching you'll be constantly thinking about it. The soundtrack and the visuals are awesome too. This anime is more than worth a shot. Seems pathetic to admit, but I cried quite sometimes, while watching it!
