I have unfortunately purchased every madden since 2000. The game is abysmal. Unless you plan on getting absolutely scammed by EA in Ultimate Team, DO NOT BUY THIS. If you have kids, DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. They will, unfortunately, be preyed upon to run up your credit card. The game is barebones, you'll play for a few days, maybe a week, and get bored. There is literally nothing to do. They've changed a few fonts, changed the orientation of a few screens, and boom, same game. Buy Madden 18, there is ZERO difference except in Ultimate Team. I am a die-hard football fan, I LOVE the idea of football games, but EA is certainly crossed the line here. It is the absolute worst sports game out right now, and I strongly suggest not buying any future madden until EA decides not to scam its customers. Any NFL game pre-2010 has infinitely more features to it.
