One of the finest survival movies I've watched ever!!

One of the finest, delicately crafted saga of human pain, suffering and survival Prithviraj Sukumaran excells!! He's flawless, so is the movie. Marvelled by the authenticity and ingenuity of Malayalam cinema.

First, I loved the theme of the film, the humane story. The comic punch in scenes and the twists, the oddball characters! However, two things that didn't work in the movie for me - the Sri Lankan angle to the bomb blast looked forced and hurried, I didn't feel the gravity in the way it unfolded. 2nd, after every blessed scene, there's a song which plays in the background that doesn't allow the scene to play out well. It felt unnecessarily commercialized. Overall, I expected better from this movie

I can't believe I tolerated this royal bullcr@p for 1.30 hours!! Suriya's career is nosediving with each passing movie, that too after Jai Bhim. He seriously needs a redemption. How did he even sign this trash??

This film shamelessly promotes misogyny and worst, glorifies dowry and patriarchy!! The guy goes out to take revenge on the girl, just because she understood she wouldn't be allowed to work and fled on the wedding day!! But the guy didn't have a problem when his nasty mother and uncle asked for a dowry of 25,00,000!! THAT WAS FINE! A one sided sloppy script which completely undervalues the position of the girl!! I don't know what these writers and directors were thinking before writing this flimsy, regressive story!! Worst, the girl's character is so weakly written, the actress is a poor performer that apart! And those last scenes when she piles on that guy to win him, is so cringe🤮🤮🤧 I wasted 2 hours watching this utter rubbish

I enjoyed this film a lot when I watched it 2 years ago, though the 2nd half gets a bit dragged. Full marks to the unique concept, a contemporary urban relationship ride. How your mobile phone is a pile stock of all your secrets.

This movie has my heart. It's spellbinding. I'm so speechless by its freshness, it's beauty, its purity, its simplicity that I don't have enough words to describe it. This movie is beyond words! It's classic Hindi cinema, beyond the trash, gimmick and Bollywood balderdash! Only 5 stars, nothing less!

At the very outset let me say I'm a huge fan of Malayalam cinema! The depth, the restraint, the slow burning treatment of characters, of situations is something that elevates their movies, unlike Tamil or Telugu cinema (Telugu is pure trash, not even talking about it) Coming to the film, Christy! This is just constructive criticism! Exploring an older woman-younger man relationship is always complex! However, the plot of the movie is simple, it's not a suspense thriller with many layers and sub plots that need to be told for almost 2.5 hours! It could have been over in 2 hours. I loved the character of Roy! The innocence, the naivety, the recklessness of teenage love! The young actor plays the role perfectly! Problematic is the woman's character! It's dubious and shallow. She doesn't know what she wants. Whether she wants to have a relationship with the boy or wants him away from him! She has no problem when the boy kisses her forcibly but later ignores him at the airport! Sloppy writing of the woman character! As much as I loved the boy's character, his confusion & desperation, I was dismayed by the character of Christy and the frustrating climax! Wish it was written better! 3 stars for Mathew, the picturesque shots of Kerala and the beautiful music! It's a good movie, could hv been better!!
