Looked like Indian version of Persepolis, but only Indians know how it is difficult to enjoy life coming out of Indian traditions and still maintain it in her own way. That's what made this movie different.

Plot was good, but in the try to make it more thrilling it was made with lots of loopholes in the story like without court martial DJ was put inside jail and even many more continuity breaks like Nikhil's room set up was changed three times. There are many more examples of lot of these. I have never seen such an overhyped webseries. It's a must NO to watch.

I went to watch this movie after hearing a lot about the previous two movies on Byomkesh by Anjan Dutta, but I was very disappointed after watching this one. This is the worst movie on detective stories I have ever seen. This could have been a better movie because of the acting but was blemished because of poor script writing. Jishu and Saswata were perfect in their roles, but it was evident that neither the director nor the script writer actually studied Byomkesh stories to realize their true characters which were well established by Saradindu Bandyopadhyay. The main idea of this movie was to combine two stories – Agniban and Satyanweshi, which was pathetically done. Even there were some logical flaws, like how the suspected ones in the story of Agniban get to know about the matchbox being doubted as murder weapon, how one matchbox can be inserted into a water bottle keeping its shape intact, why 'Kokonod' will inform Byomkesh about theft of the matchbox.These are not at all accepted in detective stories. Lastly, I can say that the director devoted most of his time to make this movie glamorous using styles with smoking, sex appeals etc, and in Byomkesh’s language it made only the cover of the book attractive.
