Remember watching it in the 80s and 90s. No sex, swearing or violence just a well written, well acted tv programme. Still watch the re-runs, love Tinkers use of the English vocabulary

The film was brilliant. Really showed how tough mental health issues can be on a person. Joaquim Phoenix was messmerising in his portrayal of a man beaten down by society, on the side of the 'have nots' turning against the 'haves'
