First of all I am a long time whovian. I think Jodi and the actors playing the companion parts are doing a great job and are superb but have to agree about a hole in the writing and the doctors character strength . I know and understand the new leadership are making there own mark on the show but feel the doctors character in general appears weaker than previous regenerations. If you put this doctor up against the master especially the missy recarination I would have hard time believing she should come out on top. There’s this disconnect for me that the doctor has with her timelord side when there needs to be a balance between it and her human one.Maybe it’s a good thing there staying with new villains this season because beating the darleks for me would be a stretch for this doctors character at this point.
