I really enjoyed it this show and felt it finally reflected a part of Jordanian society that exists. It was also nicely shot and felt significantly different to the conveyer belt of Arabic TV shows!
It is not supposed to be taken too seriously, and like some teen shows the characterisation and dialogue can be one dimensional and a bit contrived. The actors did a good job as I donโt think any of them are seasoned professionals.
The majority of the low ratings you will see are given due to a proportion of very vocal people, with a holier than thou attitude. They want to repress any spark of creativity if it dares touch on taboo subjects by labelling it unrepresentative of society. If anything this reflects on Jordanian societyโs favourite pastime of being armchair movie critics / social commentators. If you donโt think this represents society feel free to shoot your own show.
