I liked it. It was a simple movie about humanity dying of due to the abuses of the planet and when it thought that feeing was the only hope for the future of the human race one scientist believed that humans could adapt to the changing environment thru science and evolution. Even tho he died in the process, his daughter was able to continue his research and work successfully. With the help of a passing stranger on his was to flee the planet she was able to conceive a child that was able to live in the new environment that was now planet as she could. Since he was not able to live on the planet she just asked the stranger to tell the rest that it was possible for us to survive on our own planet with proof of it thru her and his now unknown to him his son.
