Shadowhunters is literally a different world and is nothing like the books. I have been a fan of The Mortal Instruments series for years and I can only say that I'm really disappointed. The whole TV show is dull and looks like childsplay from Episode 1 which really is a shame for the Mortal Instruments and the movie. The whole show just doesn't connect with the books and does not have the kind of effect which will captivate your attention and is literally just a waste of time.
