Commentist Cookie

The story and animation was absolutely outstanding. I watched this expecting it to be worse than Cars 2 (which we must not speak of) but I was so wrong. I was also amazed by the original score, it’s easily my favorite part of this movie. In fact, it’s probably the reason why I give it such a good review.

Eh it’s ok. My brother likes it. But the whole spy thing completely strays away from the entire point of Cars as a whole. It’s like if whoever wrote the story was watching a bunch of James Bond and said “Hey, why don’t I make a James Bond fanfiction but kid friendly and with CARS.” I watched Cars and Cars 3 without watching Cars 2 and everything still made perfect sense. In other words, I’m saying that Cars 3 apologizes for this “thing” known as “Cars 2.” Also maybe it could’ve had a soundtrack like the other Cars movies because I always preferred the other two’s original scores better.
