This show is an utter disaster and an insult to Robert Jordan. Rafi choose to ignore the books as well as much of Brandon Sanderson’s advice and instead do this own thing, rewriting not just minor things, but major key details as well. No more trip to camelyn and apparently the dragon can be a chick. No male/female sides of the source anymore either. I’m telling everyone i know not to watch this show. Lan shouldn’t be ugly crying over another warder he hardly knows having died. The excellent values we saw from folks of the two rivers in the books are gone. Mat’s dad turns into a womanizing, wife-beating and child-beating pig in the show, and the little rand/eguene fling in the common room of the inn would never happen in the books. Those are just a couple of quick thoughts on the first episode. Every episode Is worse than the last one. Don’t watch it. Rafi needs to lose his job.
