It was just blah. When the original movie ended, people walked away happy, humming or singing. Joyful. When this one ended, it was just over. Didn’t hear anyone humming or singing or skipping or even smiling. It wasn’t a bad movie. The warmth was missing. Best parts were at the end with Dick Van Dyke and Angela Lansbury cameos. Emily Blunt was good, but not outstanding. I was so wanting to love it. I have have liked Emily Blunt in other roles. The whole movie seemed “forced”. The charm factor just wasn’t there.
