Im a huge supporter of CDPROJEKT having bought all their witcher games as well as thronebreaker. I ignored the hype and didnt have huge expectations for the game so as to avoid being disappointed. So when I got it on PC at first I thought hey, not bad. But after about 30 or 40 hours its so painfully obvious that this is clearly an unfinished product. Not just buggy but it feels like cut corners all over the place as the devs were clearly in a position where they just had to ignore glaring problems in order to get the game out on time. Game breaking bugs, horrible vehicle control, ridiculously bad enemy AI, horrible inventory interface, broken skill trees, shallow or missing RPG elements & character customisation...list goes on and on.
At this point I started to take a look at the videos online with comparisons to other open world games as well as the list of cut content and it just feels incredibly disappointing playing the game just seeing how badly rushed out it is as well as the lost potential it once had.
Never have I been so disappointed about a game since Mass Effect Andromeda. Anyways this isnt meant to be a dig at the developers as I respect their efforts but CD PROJEKT RED needs to be accountable for such a botched release and clearly misleading their customer base about their product. Anyways heres to hoping this is a ditch in the road for the company rather than the future direction
