A writer returns to his hometown at the request of his sister as their dad is dying. Old memories come to life for Ned, who writes his recollections of his relationship with his twin sister after their mother dies of cancer. Their father Bruce tried hard to fill his dead wife’s shoes to bring up their 4 kids. Beautiful Kate refers to Ned’s twin sister who finds emotional solace from adolescent Ned and her brother Cliff as she innocently sexually manipulates her brothers as she grapples with the fear of losing their love.
