I heard very little first person accounts or even names of people and stories during the first two hours of the book (after which I gave up). Personally, I also found the side commentary about things that were clearly off topic (global warming, founding of the state of Israel in 1948, 21st century views on 2nd amendment rights, etc.) to be distracting.
