I absolutely devoured this book and loved every moment of it right up until the end. The ending was unnecessarily cruel to the reader and to the characters. To build this love story and the renewal of trust and hope, to only end it with this horrible tragedy? Why? Why do this? I understand shock value but this was way to far. I honestly feel that Rebecca Yarros should be ashamed of herself for writing this ending.

I became emursed in this book from the moment I picked it up. It had me guessing until the very end, and what an ending!! Didn't see that one coming! The reason I did give this book five stars is thus. There was no need to use racial slurs that were used. You can allude to what people are saying for the sake of showing how awful a character is however, you do not need to write the words down.

This book, let me tell you, it had me from the beginning. As a surviver and a daughter to a woman who went through domestic violence, I felt this story in my very soul. Read it! It will not disappoint!

This book had me sobbing, and I mean literally sobbing. This is by far one of the best books I have ever read. The way the story grabs you and MAKES you feel what these woman felt and what they went through is so powerful. Everything about this story with leave you with so much raw emotion. I'll never forget this story.

The book was good, but could have been way better, the story had potential but I feel that the ball was dropped a little bit.

I absolutely loved this story! It was unique and kept me hooked to the end. It gave me everything I wanted and more from a ghost/supernatural story.
