Shadow Mann – Google

Visually, this show is beautiful. It has an interesting title sequence with a beautiful theme song. The cinematic-level visuals are excellent. But, that is like putting polish wax on a horribly designed automobile. It looks great, but it works not so great. This show is not Star Trek. Although it features Patrick Stewart, Brent Spiner and Jeri Ryan playing characters with the names they had in Star Trek: The Next Generation and Voyager respectively, the show itself has none of the optimism or cleverly written stories of any Star Trek created by Gene Roddenberry. It is a serialized show telling one story. Modern Star Trek needs a new showrunner with actual cred in science fiction. The current showrunners have very little.

This game is beautiful visually. The gameplay is smooth, the environments are gorgeous, and the voice acting is great. So why the one-star review? The story of the game ruined it for me about two hours in. I will not spoil the game any more than it has been, but the moment this happens is hard to experience and is followed up by being forced to play as the character you now detest. There is lots of gore and violence in the game, and at the end, you are let down completely. I wish I had never played it.
