I waited for this movie to get good for 2 hours and 56 minutes. The story line was so boring. The entire thing. The casting is terrible. The guy from black panther as Alfred? Really? Andy dermis played an amazing villain in black panther but in this was boring, unconvincing and simply didn’t fit the role. Robert Pattinson as Batman? Really? He was not believable and didn’t convince me of the role. Couldn’t sell me on it. Even though he “beefed up” for the part he looked scrawny and should be more in a movie like the notebook or a soap opera, he may Be a good robin but in no way batman. then turtturo as falcone? Really? Great actor otherwise but not in this role. Cast in the completely wrong role and was not convincing. Then the riddler you couldn’t find someone other then a young bill gates? The scene where Batman was flying in the air with the suit on the camera trick was last used in the 1050s. Couldn’t make it look more believable? Instead let’s strap on a selfie stick and cut off the top part of his head and make it look like he’s flying. Unbelievable hype for such a wack movie. I feel like most people are just so blinded by the hype they dont notice the boredom, the unbelievably poor casting, the lack of excitement, the prolonged scenes to draw out the movie and make It as if there is some sort of suspense. All three of the last Batman series with Christian bale has me enthralled and on the edge of my seat. I was thinking to myself I hope this doesn’t end when watching those movies. With this movie I was thinking oh my gosh when will this end. Almost torturous to watch. But I started it and wanted to finish it. This one was not even close to the previous Batman’s in regards to acting, quality, story line, casting, just everything. I would watch this just to see what the hype is about but don’t expect to be entertained. I can’t reiterate enough how boring it is.

I'm a psychiatrist so my perspective is just different. I have to say this movie was so brilliant. From the acting to the character development to the contribution to the entire Batman franchise, this was just absolutely brilliant. I think people who don't like it are ones who don't understand mental illness. The acting is impeccable and realistic. The story line with the character development is nothing less then perfect. Amazing and well done. To have the joker suffer from pseudobulbar affect is absolutely brilliant. Amazing director, producer, and actor. It's dark and disturbing but just brilliant and realistic. Mental illness is ignored in this world. If you don't acknowledge it then it doesn't exist. But unfortunately we are all human and all suffer from emotional responses leading to emotional reactions. Mental illness is real. Embrace it, understand it, treat it, and seek out a mental health professional who can help. Absolutely brilliant.
