G R E A T ! First of all I'm a big fan of the melancholic but well crafted NEON - GENESIS EVANGELION. CHARACTERS: DARLING IN THE FRANXX has tons of similarities with the former, especially the protagonists. ZERO TWO is the combination of REI and ASUKA , but HIRO on the other hand was the opposite of SHINJI yet in a the same fashion of restricted freedom over his own emotions to fully be expressed. ZERO TWO, will be a new household names for unforgettable Characters in the ANIME WORLD, not just being a gorgeous and hideous woman at the same time, but the complexities are admirable. The word "DARLING" will never be the same, so natural and innocent. The MECHA, I can't help to admire the Design translation of the biological flower elements. Again this resembles the EVANGELION ANGELS with regards to being HUMANOID. Animation is just right and articulate, I personally find the KLAXXOSAURS concepts very innovative and creepy , not to mention the grimace-coloured VIRM. STORY LINE: BRILLIANT and provocative. Brilliant in the terminologies used and provocative for the underlying ( implicit ) sexual implications and morality over HUMAN complexities. Note worthy is the compromising position of the PILOTS hehe, but it was all well played especially addressing it as Pistils and Stamens ( we all know this ). Quite a number of within the Story nudes episodes, but it is utterly wired on the context. Just a bit down on the ending, due to a lot of hastened explanations , that I think rightly justified a SEASON 2. OVERALL: 10/10 , the Anime is worth every seconds of your time. A fresh take on love and exploration set up in ( we can even say ) a not too distant future for us Humanity. Kudos to the Creators. Utterly excited for the SEASON 2.
