Great game. The gameplay reminds me of doom 2016, super fast.

RE8 is the perfect sequel to 7. The horror has been taken up a notch but with different types of scares in different areas of the game. Some parts are tense scary while other parts are fearful because of the overwhelming odds. I have to say, Ethan Winters is the most abused character in a video game; he’s a juggernaut.

The original is a solid 5/5 at roughly 15hrs long. Last of us 2 is over 30hrs of constant sneaking and the game makes you play as the villain for about 12hrs. If you like Joel then don’t play this. The whole game felt like a job to me and there’s no pay off at the end. The whole game’s mood is depression.
