Unless you really enjoy the most base approach to comedy and entertainment, avoid Holmes and Watson at all costs. I don't mind zany, silly, or even stupid sometimes, but this script takes an otherwise fun story with creative characters and a lavish setting, and throws it in the gutter. It was as if the filmmakers went out of their way to offend me. Almost walked out. Wish I had. I am hugely disappointed and confused that this film earned a PG-13 rating. Just my opinion of course.
