I only gave it three stars because there's some seriously bad writing that took place, and when I say bad, I mean terrible.
Conner McGregor is nothing like the bad guy from the first one, he's just plain comical, almost reminds me of a over zealous Mike Tyson.
Jake Gyllenhaal really makes this movie watchable, but there's some serious gaps in the story compared to the first one.
In the first scene with Colin it seems like Jake is trying really hard not to laugh his but off at him, and he's supposed to be this real ruff guy.
I think that's one of my Major complaints is nobody is taken to seriously in this movie, and for a fight movie that should not be the case.
The first Road house had sex appeal, and I feel like that's what made it so good, this one is a little to comical for me.
