I really enjoy his show, but I was very shocked and disappointed this evening (Dec. 17, 2020). Jimmie showed a video of a little boy no older than 9, dropping the "F" bomb throughout a conversation with his mom concerning the Pandemic "lockdown" earlier this year. Not once did his mom stop or correct him. Jimmie then interviewed the boy and his mom live on the show. Jimmie thought the video was funny, even asking the child where he learned that word. The audience laughed and applauded. As a teacher and a mother, I found both the video and interview inappropriate. I know that people post all kind of videos, but for Jimmie to give him the limelight is giving him positive reinforcement. This child was proud of himself! What was Jimmie Kimmel thinking?!
