I truly enjoyed this movie!!! So much I had my family watch it the next day. In my opinion the people who gave this a bad review are likely comparing it to the book (which is always better than the movie) and to rated R films that add explicit scenes and profanity for the sake of "being raw" but aren't neccessary to tell the story. I read one review that said it was a watered down version of the book, but if it is (as most movie adaptations are) I appreciate that is. I was able to watch this with my 12 year old daughter who at first had no desire to watch it because she said it looked boring...but at the end was moved to tears. The acting was amazing and Woody Harrelson deserved an Oscar for it, not to mention Bre and Naomi's performances as well as the young actress that played Jeanette. I'd reccomend this to anyone and cant wait to read the book.
