Mulan, Loyal, Brave, and True Many where disappointed and trashed on this film. I believe they judged the movie before watching it. The original is a classic and holds a special place in many hearts, but so should this one. The 2020 version follows closer to the legend of Hua Mulan. This is definitely not your typical Disney movie and I believe that is why it did not recieve the love it should have. Without the singing and dancing of a traditional Disney film, it is different, but brings honor to Mulan by passing on her story. I had goosebumps throughout the entire film and it brought me to tears. The sound track was beautiful, instrumentals of many of the original Mulan songs. If you have not seen this film, you should. It deserves better than the crtics say. The animation, acting, and story is phenomenal. 10/10 would recommend. Available for free for all Disney+ members.
