The film is cliched and boring tbh. There is no originality no maturity in the story. When everybody has seen the likes of avengers,vikram etc where story and treatment is actually good with good dialogues, this film is another lazy and unintelligent attempt by bollywood. I am a big srk fan but he honestly does 20% of scenes good because the story is so cliched. Vfx is also not good enough. Overall the story is just surface level and barring a scene or two you can't stand the movie. I don't care about the money it minted because that is none of my concern. Not recommended at all imo.

It's really bad. It is so bad that it feels like a chore to complete it. Being an admirer of vinit kumar singh i was really looking forward to binge watch it but it is all disappointment and nothing else. The series is quite short,4 episodes only.The first two episodes are acceptable but the other ones fall flat. The storyline quickly becomes unbearable and boring.The dialogues are very cliched and to my suprise even the acting is not that good except for katekar from sacred games. The plot is weak, there is no thrill,no horror and it is just a big waste of time. Netflix India needs to up their game. A big downvote from my side.

PS1 is a fantastic period film done in mani ratnam style. This film(Hindi version) only caters to cinema lovers who were bored by the same old baahubali inspired cliched war scenes and aesthetics. Bahubali where is a spectacle, PS1 on the flip side is a superb “story” which I believe is its usp. This is obviously taken from the novel and the film feels like one. The sets,action,cinematography,acting everything is done in a natural look which is refreshing because it is realistic. From the very first scene you have to remember the names of the characters and places because they are important and they are unconventional especially for the Hindi audiences. Hence the outcry about being incomprehensible. I was riveted by the storyline and didn’t realise that the movie was almost three hours. A bit disappointed in ar rahman though because the music is okayish and i know that his songs grow on you. Very less layering done on the background score. So overall i would say if you love cinema and enjoy good and a bit complex movies this is your treat. This is definitely not a mindless entertainer and you have invest your mind for three hours into this to actually appreciate it fully. Standout for me was jairam (the actor who plays ponniyin selven/arunmozhi). This is an evolved film in terms of storytelling and this is what o expected out of mani ratnam sir.
