Not knowing what to expect, because this was a spirit of the moment decision to take my fiance here and I had done no research ahead of time, this was a zippity do dah happy go lucky let the chips fall kind of movie. Who knew it was a game within a game. Every since the first Jurassic Park movie, I've loved really great special effects. If you love them, you'll love this. I won't give anything away but be prepared for the integration of every fun (MTFBWY) movie you've ever seen. Shades of Tron and the LEGO movie.

Do not waste a second on this awfulness. Bruce Willis should be ashamed but maybe that's all he had left. It takes place in the year starting 2524 or some such foolish start to an siren first contact. So they makeup humans to look like zombies. Zzzzz! They're still driving Ford 150s and 7.62 guns. There is no imagination here and truly preductsble because what's a first contact movie without a human bar fight. I lasted ten minutes and shut it off. Add it to the Worst Movie Ever List.

It is awful. The dialogue is terrible. No one acts like these troglodytes. I was rooting for the shark.

I'm a fan of post apocalyptic scenarios. This was very slow and plodding but the acting for me, intense. I'm glad they forego the expected love scene but I know the child on the beach was a result of their brief union. I'd give in 3,5 stars out of 5. It's worth the watch.
