Don Moreaux

This is not a film meant to be uplifting, so be fore warned. That said, if you enjoy watching exceptional actors (yes, I'm including Adam Sandler) work their craft with one another, artistically filmed, expressing true to life family drama and emotion, and with an ending that's not your typical mind melting dribble Hollywood spoon feeds us, then this is time well spent.

Visually it is a feast with pastoral settings, elaborate folksy designs, handsome humans moving gracefully across the screen. Past that, hohum.
