I am not a big basketball fan. Never watched a single college game, but I loved the 1st 300 pages or so. Maybe for those who are big fans, they saw the flaws in his description of the game- but it is a novel and I was happy to give him a pass-on the basket ball. What is not acceptable "today" is re-enforcing the myth that a young black male cannot be successful. Grisham ended the book just the way you would expect a white male of his generation to end it. Give the book a miss and John Grisham a miss. So disappointing!
