That was pretty damn awful. I thought it'd have to be better than BVS and I was right but it was a close call. Seemed like the kind of lazy, jotted-down-on-a-napkin type plot that a nerd wanted to write graphic novels might do and then never elloborate on.
"So what's the plot?"
"Well here's going to be a alcoholic general, and a royal bodyguard, and a dual lightsaber wielding ninja that wears a pilgram hat...oh oh oh! And a prince that never wears a shirt even though everyone else is in lots of layers and clearly cold."
"Ok so those are the characters, what's the plot?"
"Oh I don't know...f*&#ing star wars or something. You heard about the shirtless prince right?"
In the end there was no effort made for lore building or character development, the decions made lacked any realistic motivation and only served to add unnecessary plot and, any interesting fight seen or cinematography seemed derivative of other movies.
