What are my thoughts about this movie? Well, I am kind of torn. I didn't really enjoy the 1st half of the movie but the 2nd act of the movie completely changed gears and it became a competent movie! The problem I have with the 1st half of this movie is that, it just wasn't interesting, the dialogue was all over the place, the acting wasn't that great and the humor... well... let's not talk about it. But once the 2nd act starts with a ''slap!'', Jason Sudeikis, who plays Oscar in this movie completely changed and with his change the movie changed and it became way more interesting and you at least felt some empathy towards the characters. Overall, it's an ''okay'' movie. Don't expect it to be ''The Best Movie of All Time'' and you will enjoy it, but you may not remember it for long. Rating- 6.5/10

One of the best movies I have seen! Daniel Day-Lewis is just awesome! If you have seen ''The Shinning'' and you liked the tone, you will most probably like this movie as well. This is not a horror movie by any means, but this movie has something unsettling about it, the way it's shot and the score helps it make unnerving. And this movie is directed it such a way, that it feels like it's a ticking time-bomb, most of the time you are at the edge of your seat! You never know what's about to happen next. Also, this movie has one of the best character development, in the form of Daniel Plainview, he is the main character, we see him as a man who is ''normal'' and hard-working in the beginning of the movie, but as the movie progresses, we see him turn into a selfish, evil-man, filled with hatred and rage, also he hates competitors! Also, Paul Dano, who plays Eli/Paul Sunday, he also did a great job! Okay, I have praised this movie a lot, and it deserves all the praise, but I have just a small complaint, and it's just a nitpick, but I found the boy, H.W Plainview, kind of annoying, I don't know why... this is my only flaw with this movie, other than that, this is a masterpiece! A must watch if you are a fan of movies that are well shot, well directed, has interesting characters and a good story. Also, if you are a fan of Daniel Day-Lewis, you should watch it too! WATCH IT!

One of the weirdest movies I have ever watched! Weird in a good way! It tells us a lot about our society, and how relationships work in our society. Colin Farrell was great as David and Rachel Weisz was also great as the short-sighted woman. It was weird and interesting, it is set in a world, you do not want to be a part of! But you wanna know about it more. Also, let me make this clear, this is not a movie for everyone, it is a very different kind of movie and doesn't follow any of the cliches set by Hollywood. The movie is a slow burn but IT IS NOT BORING! Also, surprisingly it is very funny. So, I recommend you to watch it, if you are tired of watching movies that are kind of the same. Watch it if you want something different and interesting.
