The show Daybreak sucked. Switching POV was confusing and ridiculous, plus they were constantly doing flash backs that didn't move the story plot forward. Yes some teenagers use foul language and have sex but to have every episode about it was unnecessary, unless you were a pedophile. Plus there are very little guns in California, and there is little to no bullets to kill each other with. Also, where were all the middle school and elementary kids? Or even students from other city schools? Lots of plot holes like no one has a brother or sister they are worried about, etc. Did I mention PLOT HOLES! Also the description for the show was for 17 or older, but the show was about teens in a post-apocalyptic world so again unless you are a weirdo or pedophile only teens or preteens are going to click on this show to watch it. Okay, maybe even a writer of young adult lit might. The acting wasn't terrible and you get a few good laughs in but honestly there was a lot to be desired in the plot which as a viewer you didn't get. If you are from California, or have lived there once, you picked up on things which were in correct or not even plausible for the area. If you are going to place a show in a well know location, keep things realistic to that location especially an iconic area like the LA area, such as the San Fernando Valley where Glendale is located. Another thing to comment on is the fact they would be doing an episode on this one character and raise a few questions that don't get answered or even have anything relating to the show whatsoever such as Turbo collecting the action figures. This didn't really add too much to his character nor did it help explain much about his relationship issues with his father we learned nothing more about. Or Eli and his magic cards and his home situation. Or even Josh's dad and the whole hunting trip which really didn't lead to any explanation beyond him pushing people away. If there is going to be a season 2, dear God, please fix the plot holes. Stop with the Stranger Things comedy hour. Easy up on the late night sex show. I get the whole LGBTQ but we don't need it every episode either just like we don't need straight couples making out in every episode as well. Stop the whole Twilight Sage with Josh and Sam, plus don't make KJ the new Jacob either! We also don't need this to become a teenage version of Game of Thrones either. No new mother of dragons, please!
