This is one of the best film scores ever written. Jones at his scoring height. It captures the tone and mood of both the city of Seattle and that of the movie theme. That was the genius of Quincy Jones.

This is a movie that makes comments on the state of our society in a soft, quite way. It is clear Eastwood understands all sides of the social equations portrayed in this movie and illustrates them well without using a sledgehammer. He also uses the currency of his past screen personas to inject the air of credibility needed to maintain the reality needed for believablity. Well done Clint.
