I liked the movie. Didn't love it. The production was horrible and so was Marlon Wayans acting. The story was very good. I loved hearing about what Aretha went thru but I'm sad to say, that Jennifer Hudsons acting was not up to par. I don't know if it was the horrible producer that put her into to the wierd quiet girl or she just didn't know how to do it. I love Jennifer Hudson, she is an amazing singer and it's sad that there is no place for such a soulful singer in these days, but she really needs to learn how to act before she tries on the big screen again.
