Absolutely love the show. It proves you can do a "reality" show without having drummed up human conflict and tension. Instead it shows a team of dedicated men working together for a common goal. Not only are they looking for potentially unimaginable treasure but unraveling evidence of great historical significance while they're at it. Who still believes Columbus was the first European to discover America? Hard to dispute artifacts found on Oak Isl that are scientifically dated to pre-Columbus times. Do I believe there is treasure to be found? Ha, hardly. No way some 13th-15th century knights went through that much effort to hide something obviously of great worth and then just left it buried. But that's not the point. It's the pursuit and the passion... which is the real treasure in this show.
