As you know car racing started out as an illegal activity along with the birth of industrialized car production. I hoping for that same feel of progression from street to track much like the first granturismo. You buy a car, used, mod it a little and started racing. And you could mod the hell out of it too, adding forced induction to almost anything. So by the time you raced 'professionally', your used car has become a proper racing car. That is one aspect they should've kept. What they could add instead of the awful 'rally' part is a dedicated formula career track even if it didn't have f1. We the players are fully aware that this is a Japanese game. So in short, wo derful graphics but lacking character and feel.

I thought it became too hard to be enjoyable. I thought there was supposed to be some action but this became too consistent considering the objective of the game. It starts out alright but toward the end, when you switched to the secondary character, it was just constant fighting. This would be fine if you used the WASD + mouse but using a joystick really took the fun out. Swimming was a disaster as well. It would be fair to say Farcry5 is actually better technically. The first part is 4 thumbs up though.
