I watched American Bandstand as a kid, mainly to hear the music, but I enjoyed the teenage dancers, too. Now, all these years later, so many teenagers of that era have grown up with the music on the show that was, as Dick Clark often said, "the soundtrack to their lives." Even though the show has been off the air for many years now, it's spirit continues through the music and its continuing popularity has spawned many newspaper articles, magaziine stories and books in recent years, like the recent Bandstandland. Thanks to all concerned for keeping the soundtrack rolling.
