I love the books. LOVE them. The character development and rich world building is unmatched. Then there’s this series. I’m not sure why they felt the need to name it after the series and say it’s based on the story when every opportunity is taken to veer from them. Had I not read the books, I might would enjoy the show. But I have, so I don’t. I was so hopeful for this and was seriously looking forward to it.
