Felt like too much was happening, lots of characters. Turned old villains from first book into Frankenstein? It doesn’t really match the world of the first book. There were so many new things it was really hard to keep focus and remember it all. Hardly focused on Rowan and Citra together. I felt like it was a drag to get through this book. The ending was pretty cool but it felt like the plot just doesn’t fit the series and some parts just didn’t make sense. Scythe is for sure my favorite book of all time with the pacing, events, and world building. The second book? Hard pass

I’m in the movie theatre writing a review right now because it’s so bad. I’m completely lost because the plot has JUMPED around with no time frame and it’s incredibly confusing. I’m about 2 hours in and I have no idea what is happened because it’s quickly paced. The main character falls in love with a minor, throws herself at everyone, and the 15 year old has his own company and full fledged acting career. It makes absolutely no sense and I think you’d honestly have to be on some sort of drug to enjoy this movie. I had to look up to see if this movie was a sequel to something because it didn’t make sense whatsoever.
