Thoroughly enjoyed it only wish there were more episodes. Animation was great characters were diverse and interesting. Gore, story and Norse references of the Aesir and Vanir were appreciated. Felt knowledgeable but not a history channel docu series either. I’d give it a 9.5 out of 10. Only people I see maki my neg reviews are dudes who hate strong female leads and prudish women who think Vikings should be portrayed as gentlemanly. Ironically both of those types have so much in common just happen to be in opposite sides of the pendulum. I would suggest blind watching it. I thought the animation would be a hard watch but it blew me away once I started.

Beautiful movie 10/5 stars. Animation was great, tantalizing, and loveable characters. Great plot, and message, didn't know what I was expecting but my expectations were blown away.

I caught myself comparing the characters the first castlevania rendition and realized I shouldn’t have. Different world, the main characters are a lot younger so the character development is different. But I really loved the world building. I didn’t love the first season of castlvania but realized they were establishing the entire world. So I’m looking forward to the next seasons and seeing how they can push the plot forward and expand the world/series.

Amazing show. Great characters, some edginess but not overboard, good character development, the women characters are complicated and deep not just s*x toys. Overall, the story was just so damn interesting and animation and art style were 20/10. Netflix needs to fund more in depth animated projects like this and stop treating anime like it's for kids. Love this show after one day Keep it up Netflix.
