The entire series takes you back to the dawn of Indian independence through the lens of movie industry and memorable characters. The language does not reflect the times the series it is placed in. It however is an interesting storyline, predictable but with a very endearing treatment. One enjoys the context and the deft storytelling. Attention to detail, visually, is the key that holds an otherwise simplistic storyline together

If you have nothing better to do...DO NOTHING. The movie is supposedly a period adventure drama, Nothing can justify the label. The sets look like arabian nights had one night stand with medieval europe in a rajasthani fort. The costumes feel like the dress desginer has a turban fetish and a bad hangover in an irish bar on st.patricks day(amir dresses up like a grinch)! Except for Katrina's costumes, those seem to have come from the Baby Doll sets!Amitabh and Amir look are trying too hard to be deadly and cool...former looks constipated and later looks puzzled. Katrina's entire acting stint can be described as an item number with a very boring song. Rest of the cast is playing along , apparently happy to just share the screen. The action scenes remind you of pirates of Caribbean type movies, remind you how good they were and how bad these are!. All in all a lesson in why not to watch bollywood movies before your friends have suffered through and given a verdict
