This must be my all-time favorite book. It may be a hard read and is especially dense towards the middle but it is all worth it and shows how flawless a society like this could run. Written out of fear of socialism and totalitarianism it obviously has prevalent political messages that make the scenario terrifyingly possible. The most admirable effect of the book is that it makes you rethink a lot about life and society, there were even times when I questioned the importance of history and what actually makes something reality. Many people don't like the ending, and although it is rough to say the least it is the perfect conclusion to a dark story of hope and perseverance. Its a book that everyone should not only read, but truly think on.
