This is the best of the three books. It is dark and the author revealed the answers to my questions, but now I have more questions. I can't wait for the next in the series.

This book was easier to read than the first. The story gets more convoluted. You are going to need the map, glossary, and timeline at the back of the book. The good thing is that the author gives you all you need to follow the story. Loved it.

Calixta is a strong woman in a dire situation. I could not put the book down. I read it in two days. It made me laugh, cry, and pissed at the end because now I have to wait for the second in the series.

Love the story. It was a little hard to read but well worth it.
