Mortality turns out to be quite attractive, after achieving eternal life which is boring and passion-less. The new Savior, ironically, is an exterminator, who instead of bringing eternal life, brings mortality. The movie suggests to me that (after a life of normal length, full of passions, loves, kids, dreams, humanity, imagination, achievement) mortality offers more meaning, passion, and fulfillment than boring and passion-less eternal life. A truly great and classic cult movie.
