The movie is so cliche. it was a waste of my time. Basically couldn't get why anyone would direct a movie with such a plot

I don't know how I feel about them using our history as a punchline to make a tv show. But I definitely think that they should donate some of the profit to the people still devastated by the genocide. As they are exploiting it to make money.
