Surprised this movie doesn’t have better reviews — critics need to leave their biases out of their critique. In music there are only 12 notes and for humans there are equally a short supply of themes that are relevant to the hero’s journey. Alita delivers on every level of what a movie is supposed to supply an audience. Your money and your time are well spent whether you’re with family or felt like watching a movie alone. Whether it’s a story of Love, Coming of age, or The battle between good and evil and even a parent who has lost their child and filled with hope to pass their love on to another — Alita simply has it.
